Minutes
WACC Meeting
January 6, 2009

Committee members present:  Larry Gensch, , Craig Barrick, Tommi Larrison, and Al Lutterman

Guests:  Frank Hanson, John Larrison, Francine McDonald, and J. Walker

1.   Frank Hanson reported on the water project.  The engineering firm he has been working with has reviewed the project, based on the Georgetown layout and arrived at a 2.26 million dollar estimate.  The city might provide 25% of the cost, but does not plan to "grandfather" the connections at this time.

A petition to proceed would require signatures of fifty (50) Whitetail property owners.  The petition would then go to the County Commissioners.  If approved by the Commissioners, the matter would be placed on the ballot of the next election.  Only Whitetail property owners will be able to vote on it.  A simple majority would create the WCID which becomes a taxing authority.  Scheduling a meeting of the Whitetail community is planned to present the petition.  We will try to get the meeting scheduled in late February.

2.  No discussion of the website as Larry Whelan was not present.

3.  Craig Barrick reports a WACC  account balance of $1,835.81.  There were no expenditures for the past month.

4.  Tommi Larrison was voted in as a regular committee member to fill the position vacated by the resignation of Frank Hanson.

5.  Francine McDonald volunteered to post a request for anyone interested in acting as an alternate on the WACC.  She also commented on some items of concerns that she has observed such as:  trash containers left open allowing wind to blow the trash around the neighborhood; property owners that exceed the limit of livestock on their property; and the PA systems at the new school loud enough to be hear inside her home.
