WACC Meeting
November 9, 2008
Committee members present: Larry Gensch, Frank Hanson, Craig Barrick, Larry Whelan, Al Lutterman, and Arne Wentz (alt.)
Estimated cost of water lines run under road is approximately $2,000,000. This is based on the original layout and includes fire hydrants within 1,000 feet of all properties and uses an 8” diameter feeder line. Still in discussion with the city regarding their input although they are backing off on grand fathering connection fees.
The work on upgrades is ongoing for the website with new header images and connectivity to Sara Weiss's website/blog. The neighborhood website, with added sections for additional committees, is to encourage use as a community informational tool.
The committee will work on an outline of procedures for discharge of WACC duties. Need to cover items such as who becomes chairperson, resignations, officer duties, etc. The WACC will get together to work on this November 18, 2008. Al Lutterman will provide initial input for discussion after reviewing documents provided by Arne Wentz.
Craig Barrick, treasurer, reported $1,911.76 account balance.
Reviewed letter prepared by Larry Whelan regarding funding. He will include suggested modifications and mail it to all homeowners.
