WACC Meeting
October 7, 2008
Committee members present: Larry Gensch, Frank Hanson, Craig Barrick, Larry Whelan, Al Lutterman, and Tommi Larrison (alt.)

1. Discussion of letter to Whitetail residents being prepared by Larry Whelan. The committee would like to encourage groups in the community to use the WACC website as a common communication tool. An URL can be added to link with Sara Weiss's blog site.
2. Nothing to report regarding retrieval of account records from previous treasurer.
3. Discussion about fire protection from Leander Fire Department. There is some confusion as to who first responder might be. Larry Gensch is also looking into getting someone to present a class on fire prevention, etc.
4. Received a letter from G. Parsons stating intent to finish work on barn. He has the materials on hand to complete the work.
5. Another meeting with the city of Georgetown is scheduled for Wednesday, October 9, 2008, to discuss the water project. We need to understand just what the city's commitment is on this.
6. No progress to report on WACC rules.
7. Treasurer's report show balance of $1911.81. Two years rental of P.O. Box 243 will reduce this by $76.00.
